Since 2012 we've been spreading the love for jams, preserves, and hot sauces that elevate the everyday.

Our Founder Melanie Mulherin, whom we lovingly call the Sauce Boss, loves distinctive and bold flavours. From her grandparents' grocery store and dinner parties to the family restaurant, her passion for food started early on. After she married a chef, her mother-in-law taught her the art of preserving, and so our story began. Wanting to create something new with a great balance of spice and flavour, Spicy Tomato Savoury Spread was born.

This next-level replacement for ketchup on your favourite burger became our first product and best seller. She started selling it at the local Farmers' Markets to rave reviews.

As the company grew, Melanie recognized the opportunity to provide meaningful employment and allow locals to remain connected to family, nature, and community without leaving the island. Our rural west coast setting continues to inspire how we grow as a company and the impact we have.
